This adventurous one day Super Jeep tour takes you to the South coast with an exciting glacier hike at Sólheimajökull glacier.
The day starts off with a visit to one of Iceland’s loveliest waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss. Here the sure-footed can walk behind the thundering cascade but be careful as the trails is narrow and a bit slippery. Extra caution is especially needed during the winter and good footwear is recommended.
Next stop is at one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland, the impressive Skógafoss. It brings water from the 2 glaciers surrounding it, Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. Due to the amount of spray, rainbows are usually visible on sunny days but the spray means you’re likely to get wet if you get up close.
Finally, we go to Sólheimajökull glacier where you will have the opportunity to have a unique glacier hike on this magnificent glacier with its blue ice formations and ever changing ancient frozen water world. You will be accompanied by an expert glacier guide and we will provide you with all the safety gear you need to make sure you are safe on this ice adventure.
Then it’s on for a fun action drive to the black volcanic beaches of the south, where you have panoramic views in all directions with the Atlantic Ocean beating the shore on one side and glaciers and volcanoes on the other.
Please bring loose change for toilet fees, warm clothes, a camera and some snacks for the ride. The driver will be stopping at service stations should you wish to purchase something there.

Pick up services
Missing the pick up does not entitle you to a refund for the paid services. You are responsible for being ready at the designated pick up location at the scheduled time. Pick up locations vary from tour to tour but we always try our best to pick you up as close to your accommodations as possible. New regulations from the city of Reykjavík has hindered our ability to drive our larger vehicles within the city center so you might be required to go to the nearest bus stop.
