Golden Circle

Today, we venture into the iconic Golden Circle. Discover Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site steeped in history and natural beauty. From the erupting Strokkur geyser to the thundering Gullfoss waterfall, you’ll see Iceland’s most cherished landmarks up close.

Our guides, who know these sites like the back of their hand, will share the stories that bring these places to life.

Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the location of the world's first parliament; Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfalls. At Thingvellir National Park history and nature meets.

This is the only place where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge comes to the surface and forms a rift valley between tectonic plates. Filled in the fissure created by the separation of the plates is glacial water that has been filtered underground for decades through hardened, porous lava rock. The filtering process of the glacial water makes Silfra one of the clearest bodies of water on earth with up to 120 meters of visibility.

The history was made at Thingvellir when in 930AD was formed Althing, the oldest parliament still in operation. Therefore Thingvellir is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage for both, natural and cultural importance.

Time for an adrenaline rush with a snowmobile ride on Langjökull Glacier. This exhilarating adventure lets you experience the breathtaking beauty of Iceland’s glaciers like never before. As you zip across the pristine ice, the thrill of speed surges through you, taking you to places few have ventured.

Yet, amid the excitement, there’s a calmness that surrounds you. The vast white landscape is untouched and pure, offering a moment of tranquility. As you glide over the glacier, take in the quiet and the crisp air, appreciating the beauty of nature around you. This perfect mix of thrill and peace makes for an unforgettable experience in Iceland’s wilderness.
