Arriving at Keflavik Airport, your private chauffer will be there to greet you outside baggage claim, holding a sign with your name on it. Your chauffer will now bring you to downtown Reykjavík and to your accommodation, The Edition Hotel. Transfer time: approx. 45 minutes.

Today after breakfast and check-out, you will meet with your chauffer at the hotel´s lobby. From here you will have a short 10minutes ride to Reykjavík Airport, where you take flight you will take flight to Egilsstaðir. 

Arriving at Egilsstaðir Airport, you will meet with your private guide. Your guide will take you now, to your accommodation for the next three nights – Hotel Mývant. Along the way you may discover the unique beauty of North Iceland

First stop might be at Stuðlagil, one of the most famous canyons. Its pictures basalt formations make it an outstanding gem. The river that flows across the towering rocks, can be in all shades of arctic blue and lavish green. During winter when snow covers this natural sculpture, the place looks like fairytale paradise. Next you might visit a charming waterfall Rjúkandi. It is the highest waterfall at this part of the country and true pearl of North-East.

For a lunch we recommend stop at Möðrudalur, the highest inhabited village in Iceland. Located almost 500 meters above the sea level. Here you will learn more about the rich history of the region and have a chance to try traditional Icelandic cusine.

After the lunch you will continue your journey towards Hotel Mývant, driving through arctic wilderness. You may wish to make one more stop at Hrossaborg Crater. The name means ‘Horse Castle’ and back in the old days, it was used as a natural shelters for many travellers. 

Snowmobiling frozen Icelandic lake is a once in a lifetime event. This adventure is perfect for those wanting to explore the country’s famous lake and experience one of Iceland’s most thrilling activities.

Once your snowmobile experience come to an end, your guide will take you for a hearty meal at local Farm.

A wise man once said that if you can walk, you can also try snowshoeing. It’s amazing how much easier it is to explore the snow-covered landscape with snowshoes. They help distribute your body weight evenly over the surface, allowing you to walk effortlessly even in deep snow. In Dimmuborgir, we are fortunate to have excellent landscape, offering endless possibilities.

Today you will discover more magnificent gems of North Iceland. The day will start with private guided tour around Lake Mývant and its off breatten paths.

Lake Mývant, has its own, unique character. There are neither many tress or glaciers. This part of Iceland is captivated by the geothermal force and place, where you can feel the volcanic activity, that has taken place in the last centuries. To explore this magnificent power, you may challenge yourself with a hike to Mt. Hverfjall. 

Hverfjall is a beautifully shaped volcanic crater. Round and almost perfectly symmetrical is utterly mesmerizing. During winter, when snow covers its area, the crater look like fine piece of modern art. Once you on top, you may enjoy a magnificent panorama of the lava landscape. 

During your tour, you will experience many charming spots of great Mývan area. Along the way, you may discover more history about the people who lived there for many ages, while stepping into of the magnificent valley. From bubbling geothermal landscape to mighty waterfalls and pictures lava formations, the vies will stay with you for a long time.

Today you'll be taken to a local dog kennel where you'll spend the afternoon riding alongside Icelandic sled dogs. This is an unforgettable experience that will bring into the arctic wilderness.

Today after breakfast and check-out, you’ll meet with your private guide at hotel´s lobby. From here, you will drive further North.  

Driving across wild Icelandic landscape, you may have a first stop at one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the country. Goðafoss has a strong character, and it is nearly impossible to mistake it for any other waterfall. 

Next will you drive to Akureyri, known as a capital of the North. This charming town has a very peaceful atmosphere. Beautifully located between mountains and lake, gives the feeling of an arctic oasis in far north part of Iceland.

From here you will drive a short distance to Grenivík. Small village hidden in the mountains. At harbour you will meet with your Captain, who will take you on a scenic sail across north waters to say ´hi´ to gentile giants of the sea. 

Your Whale Watching adventure will end at Hauganes. Here, your private driver will great you and take to next accommodation, unique Deplar Farm. 

Deplar Farm is tucked away in the remote and ultra-pristine far north, on the otherworldly Troll Peninsula.

Relax in the outdoor pool, which is filled with pure and natural spring water harvested from our valley and heated geothermally to the perfect temperature. At Deplar Farm, a soak isn’t just relaxing, it’s healing too.

The winter season in Iceland might be short in light but your days at Deplar Farm still be packed with adventures. Today you may wish to choose a more active one and enjoy sea kayaking, followed by horseback riding. Paddle across north waters, surrounded by peaky mountains or explore arctic wilderness, while riding on unique Icelandic horses. 

After day filled with memorable experiences, unwind at hotel´s hot tub while awaiting for Northern Lights display. 

Today you may wish to start a day with Fat Biking tour. The fresh arctic air will wake you up as you traverse frozen wonderland on big tire bikes. They are specialy design to to give you effortlessly float over snowy terrain. This is a perfect winter adventoure and unique experience, that offers fun and challanging workout for whole family. 

Later, we recommend to take enojy some wellness treatment back at Lodge. After many nordic adventours, you can unwind and relax at private yoga session or Viking Sauna ritual. 

Today after breakfast and check-out, you will meet with your private driver at Deplar Farm. From here you will be transfer to Akureyri Airpor and take flight to Reykjavik.

Arriving at Rreykjavík Airport your chauffer will be there to greet you outside baggage claim, holding a sign with your name on it. Your chauffer will now bring you next accommodation, The Retreat Spa. Along the way you may admire volcanic landscape of Reykjanes. with a moon like scenery. 

Reykjanes Peninsula is a geothermal area, with various mud pool and pots, that bestow multicoloured hues upon the soil. It runs along the Mid-Atlantic Rift, where the Eurasian and the North American tectonic plates are drifting apart. Thanks to its geological setting, the whole peninsula is extremely volcanically active, covered with magnificent lava fields. Eruptions and earthquakes are very common here. 

Once at The Retreat Hotel, the rest of the afternoon is for you to spend at leisure. 

Today all day is at your own peace and leisure. After the adventures journey it is time to relax and recharge. Your last full day in Iceland will be dedicated of geothermal spa. The Retreat spa is one of the very best in the world. What can be better than the morning with Retreat ritual, follow by the afternoon in water massage on floating mattress in the warm water of the blue lagoon. You might also start the day with morning yoga classes, to bring balance and harmony to your mind and body.
